Friends! Hello, how are you all? Good? Hanging in there? I hope so.
Guys, can I just take a moment to tell you how freakin' cool it is to go back to a school? Most of you probably already knew that, but it took me three years!! So that's where we are at.
This week has been great. From being reunited with old and new friends to getting back to sailing to sweet adventures, it's been good to be back.
Labor Day was the best. One of my favorite things in the world is just to drive aimlessly with the windows down and good music playing, and that's just what my roommates and I did! We ended up in North Kingstown, Rhode Island which is SO cute. If Wilmington, NC and New England had a baby it would be North Kingstown. It was the best. Ya'll. We walked into my roommate's backyard and I felt like I was in The Secret Garden. There were hidden staircases, an old tennis court, tire swing, gardens, and it was perfectly overgrown. I couldn't stop running around and exploring it! I've already called dibs on getting married there, it's beautiful! I wish I had pictures that did it justice, until my wedding day just this will have to suffice! This little adventure was exactly what I needed.
I hope you all get the chance soon to drive aimlessly with the windows down, it really is good for the soul. And when that time comes I want you to be prepared, so here are a couple songs that were made for this occasion. Enjoy!
- Woodland - The Paper Kites
- Believe - Mumford and Sons
- Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilots
- Beetle - Run River North (preferably the Demo version)
- Hold On - Rivvrs
- Running For Cover - Ivan & Alyosha
